The Waxhaw Parks & Recreation Team launched the Healthy, Exercise, Recreation, Outreach (HERO) Program and Unit in January 2021.  The unit will be used as a portable space to jumpstart fun activities for community programs with hundreds of recreational items stored inside.  The unit will travel to various Waxhaw parks and neighborhoods monthly.
