Waxhaw Board of Commissioners Fills Vacant Seat

image3-2The Waxhaw Board of Commissioners held a special meeting on December 2, 2020, at 4:15 PM. The purpose of the meeting was to appoint and administer the Oath of Office for the BOC vacant seat.


The chosen candidate, Jason Hall, was officially sworn into office by Town Clerk Melody Shuler.











Mayor Ron Pappas said, " As we grow our leadership team in Waxhaw, we are proud to embrace Jason Hall as our newest Town Commissioner."

In amidst of the local and global health pandemic, COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Town of Waxhaw, and the BOC are committed to providing open and transparent public access to this meeting. 

 

For the public’s safety, the meeting was held in a virtual format using the Zoom meeting platform. The meeting was also streamed live to the Town's YouTube page and can be viewed here https://youtu.be/iCNdpJO8AOQ. The swearing-in can be found at approximately 4 minutes into the meeting video.
