During a town hall forum on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021, Waxhaw Mayor Ron Pappas discussed several current events around town. Most notably, see below for Waxhaw’s newest population totals from the 2020 Census- the town has grown substantially in the past decade. He also discussed Waxhaw’s 5-year Capital Improvement Plan, the upcoming groundbreaking on Waxhaw’s newest downtown park, and developments on the 17-acre town campus project. Finally, the Mayor praised improvements to the town government, including a spate of new hires joining the staff and improved financial position for the town.
