 Town Campus sculpture

Reflect, Connect, & Uplift by Leah Foushee Waller and Michael Waller

The sculpture is emblematic of Waxhaw's history and our heritage.

The sculpture was made possible by the Town's commitment to public art and collaboration with the Public Art Committee and Town Staff.

The Ring of Feathers is a symbol of the mind, body, and spirit of the community.

The Dome's bluish-green bronze dome is the spirit of the land and the importance of stewardship and

the earth's sustainability.

The Vessel symbolizes and honors 18th-century pit-firing pottery.

The four symbols include Water, Fire, Air, and Earth, along with the compass placed on the vessel.

The first official Town of Waxhaw 50-year Time capsule is nestled within the vessel's heart.  Within the capsule is a snapshot of our history from 1889 to 2024.  Scheduled to be open November 2074.
