Waxhaw Police Department's Special Response Team receives a higher level of tactical training in order to accomplish goals of preserving life and maintaining peace during high risk operations. They receive training on a variety of special weapons that give them the upper hand in most tactical situations.

The team is comprised of volunteers from the Waxhaw Police Department that have shown the desire to serve the Town under the most extreme circumstances.
